Development History of Hubei Goman Heavy Industry
Two Decades of Persistent Cultivation · Craftsmanship Forges a Dream for the Future
Since its establishment in 2005, Hubei Goman Heavy Industry has focused on the R&D, manufacturing and sales of aerial work platforms. Adhering to exquisite craftsmanship, we continuously make technological breakthroughs and expand global markets. Over two decades of steady development, we have grown from a startup to an internationally influential enterprise in the industry.
2005 | Foundation Laid
The predecessor of our company was founded in Wuhan, focusing on aerial work platforms. We distributed foreign branded equipment to accumulate technical experience and professional talent reserves.
2008 | Independent Technological Breakthrough
We independently developed and delivered the first domestically-manufactured telescopic Spider Lift model T30, which was put into service for China Southern Power Grid.
2008–2012 | In-depth Industry Cultivation
We completed the first-generation R&D of core products including Spider Lifts, articulated boom lifts and telescopic boom lifts, and built a complete production and quality inspection system.
2013 | Standardized Upgrade
We completed shareholding restructuring and renamed ourselves Hubei Goman Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. In August the same year, we were listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), ranking among China’s first batch of listed enterprises in the aerial work equipment sector.
2014 | International Technical Cooperation
We co-developed the articulated Spider Lift X36 and telescopic Spider Lift T53 with Italy’s CLAMP Studio SRL. In November, the two models debuted at bauma CHINA in Shanghai. The T53 drew widespread attention thanks to its outstanding working height performance.
2015 | Focus on Core Business
Our core business operated independently under the brand "Goman Heavy Industry", with all resources concentrated on aerial work equipment. We launched the first lithium battery-powered articulated Spider Lift X24, which won wide recognition in overseas markets.
2016–2019 | Global Market Expansion
We iterated our product portfolio and completed a full range of Spider Lifts covering working heights from 16m to 50m, with mass exports to mainstream European and American markets. Our equipment was deployed in landmark projects including Tianjin Yujiapu High-speed Railway Station, Nanning East Railway Station and Qingdao West Railway Station.
2020 | New Chapter in Insulated Equipment Technology
We independently developed X17E, China’s first domestically-made crawler insulated boom lift. The unit passed third-party testing for State Grid and was delivered to Inner Mongolia Power Group.
2021 | Smart Manufacturing Upgrade
Our brand-new intelligent production base covering 28,000 square meters was put into operation, doubling our overall production capacity.
2022 | Comprehensive Global Layout
All core product lines obtained EU CE certification. Our distribution network covers more than 30 countries and regions across North America, Europe, Central Asia, Africa and South America.
2023 | Pioneer of Green Manufacturing
Responding to the low-carbon trend, we prioritize energy-saving, high-efficiency and zero-emission new energy equipment to drive the green transformation of the industry.
2024 | Specialized & Innovative Enterprise
We were awarded the title of Hubei Provincial "Specialized, Refined, Unique & Innovative" SME. We hold over 50 core patents, forming solid technological barriers against competitors.
2025 | Benchmark for China’s Exports
Overseas business saw rapid growth, with overseas revenue accounting for over 60% of total income. We have become a representative Chinese exporter of Spider Lifts with rising global brand recognition.
2026 – Present | Intelligent Journey Toward the Future
We keep advancing intelligent aerial equipment and live-line operation equipment for State Grid applications. In May 2026, our rough-terrain insulated boom lift U17 was exhibited at the Zhuhai Live Working Exhibition of China and received high praise from industry experts.
